Types of Charts

Better Plot’s main aim is to simplify the production of graphics, and to make certain natively unavailable graphics available. These charts are divided into three categories:

includes all types of graphs that can be produced directly from a sample data set. This category represents the vast majority of graphs available / provided by Better Plot.

corresponds either to classic graphics but containing ‘processing’ options that can be customised by the user; or to representation graphics that cannot be categorised.

corresponds to graphs that require and/or enable mathematical (often statistical) processing to be applied to a previously selected set of data. This category represents more specific graphs that are not intended to be systematised over a large number of samples.

Of course, the whole point of creating graphs is to visualise data, but also to be able to export these visualisations. That’s why Better Plot includes various chart export options.
